Follow A Tag#42

While we have a Trending Tags section, which is great, an additional section to allow faster search of specifically tagged content would be beneficial as a short-term “fix” for searching for tagged content without altering the URL manually.

The ability to “follow” these tags will help users find the content they are looking for faster and more easily.

So kinda like subscribing to a subreddit on reddit then having a front page that changes based on it? Or just some kind of ‘favorite tags’ that always display in the left menu?

Alternatively we could display ‘favorite tags’ based on your voting history too in the UI that could allow to quickly navigate there

Either would work, but I was specifically thinking of a “favorite tags” section that could always display.

I like the idea of “favorite tags” based on voting, but that could be skewed and show some that a user doesn’t necessarily care to follow. That could be a good alternate solution if there was also some configuration allowed by the user.
